Smoked Tail Light Cover

  1. Remove the tail light covers from their protective padding and clean with surface cleaner. Make sure it’s clean so there is no specs between the cover and your taillight. This will make your finished product look much cleaner.
  2. Open your trunk lid and clean entire tail light housing on your car. Ensure the contact area for the double sided tape is clean and ready to be adhered to. Use the Alcohol Wipes that came with your purchase to prepare the covers to be applied to the housing.
  3. Remove the plastic strip from the 3M Double Sided Tape already attached to the cover plate. Place the cover onto the tail light starting with the bottom to ensure a nice secure fit. Repeat for the opposite side. Be sure to keep pressure on the cover, to properly secure them to the car.
  4. Close the trunk lid and press on the covers to properly fit them on the tail lights. They may slide and move a small bit at first, but that’s normal as they need to snug themselves into your tail lights. Congratulations you’re ready to step back and enjoy your new purchase.
