The 1980 Mustang saw very few changes from the revolutionary 1979 model. The 5.0L V-8 was replaced with a 4.2L V-8, which, sadly, had 21 few horsepower. There was also an option for a carriage roof, which would give the illusion of a convertible with it's top up, available on the 1980 Mustang. AmericanMuscle is always a great place to shop for my mustang. They give detailed information about the parts and if they fit or what they need in order to fit. It is also very helpful that they suggest accessories to go along with what you buy. For an example, I just bought a new exhaust system and they suggested new O2 sensors (or extenders) which wad needed since the other ones came up to short. Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service! I cannot tell you what a joy it is to do business with American Muscle. Their sales and customer service departments are always on point, and able to answer my questions with ease. They always beat their competition on pricing, and have an ever growing selection. There parts ship quickly, and arrive in a timely manner, all for free. I haven’t found anyone else with free shipping. They also give us military a good price break, so we save even more money. There online catalog is the easiest online catalog to browse, that I have found yet. I absolutely praise American Muscle for the service they provide us.
