Car Bio
I bought the car in 2006. It was a long hunt for the one. I found it one state over and it came with only 68k on the car. At the time, it was 8 years old. The car is pretty mint. Started right off the bat with the suspension. We started slow with only a Stage 1 and 2 Steeda. Over the years, it was slowly completed to be all 4 stages. The engine had a leak in the manifold around May of 2006. So I figured, instead of taking it apart and putting a stock back on, I looked around for some PI heads and received a manifold off a friend who recently upgraded his 04 with a blower. He also put in a set of Steeda under drive pulleys, due to him having to go back to stock for the blower.

I do most of the work myself. I am lucky to have access to Military hobby shop that has everything I need to get any job done. So I went all out and put PI heads on and new pulleys, and decided while doing that it would be easier to put Bassani headers on while I was there. Then I found out that the H pipes didn't hook up. So I had to dig for another 400 bucks and put some X pipes on. After that, I just took care of parts that had no effect on performance, but were just old, like the bearings and small things. On the way home from work, we had a flash ice storm. I lost control and hit a pole and put my Stang $5000 bucks behind my dreams. Took 6 months for her to get back to where she was and looking good. I got it done right at the right place: Tascas body shop. If you guys don't already know, Bob Tasca is a legend at Ford. He and the man Shelby are pretty close. He resides in RI and his family is still in the racing industry and still sells and makes monster Mustangs. Since the Stang almost lost its life in some black ice, I decided to name it BLACK ICE. Now she is on her way to killing almost anything on the streets. I get thumbs up everywhere I go. It's not too bad of a looker, but I think it's more the sound that gets people's attention. Not to make fun, most Stangs have a Flowmaster series exhaust and mostly only cat back. I'm complete Bassani and it's loud and pops a lot.
