| When I was seven, my neighbors got a 98 GT Vert and I had a chance to sit in it.. from that moment forward, I knew I would have that car. Around my 17th birthday I saw one for sale and got the number and called it. The guy that answered told me that it would take him around 1 hour to get it out for me to test drive...we went and got some dinner and met the guy. My dad, who is a mechanic, checked the car out, got in the driver seat and the guy sat in the passenger side. I was in the backseat during the test drive my dad hit the pedal and gave it the gas I has amazed by the power of it. I threw up after the test drive because it rattled my stomach pretty bad. The guy wouldn't come down off the price and we ended up leaving without the car. During the ride home, my dad called him and told him to meet back in 15 minutes so he could buy it. I ended up getting my favorite car, my dream car, my baby that day and remember all the memories that I had in it and will still have hopefully. I ended up finding out that my car is a ex-police car and it doesn't have a governor on it and I have police lights built into my headlights. That was a nice find. Other than a CAI and 3.73 Ford Racing Gears, everything else is pretty much stock. It has 98,000 miles on it and it's running strong. I love this car so much and it has amazing sentimental value to me :) Thanks for reading. |

It is also very helpful that they suggest accessories to go along with what you buy. For an example, I just bought a new exhaust system and they suggested new O2 sensors (or extenders) which wad needed since the other ones came up to short. Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service! I had a question about the rims I was looking at, and sent them an email and in an hour they answered all my questions and helped me decide what ones to get.
