My name is Richard Brown and this is my 1998 mustang that I have named “VENOM”. I found this car in the back of a car lot, all beat up and completely wrecked all over. My wife and I were on our way home one day and we drove past this used car lot and my wife noticed something and said to pull in. So after slamming on the brakes we pulled to the back of the lot and saw the Mustang sitting there. My wife jumped out of the car before I could stop. She was saying "Let’s buy this one". I was in the market for something to drive not rebuild, but after going over the car and seeing the potential it had, we decided to buy the car right then. The car ran on only 3 cylinders, had busted head lights and the passenger rear quarter was crushed in. The front bumper looked like it been through a shredder, and it had flat tires & torn up rims. I had to buy it. I did research on the car and found out that it was a special order with a few suspension modification and 17 inch wheel package from the factory. The car came with a non smoker option and is a non smoking vehicle. What is nice about the car is when you come off the line the car doesn’t jump up and burn rubber... it simply dives forward and goes like a strike of a cobra. Which is my reason for calling the car “VENOM”. My father and I spent all winter working on the car, starting with the engine. The engine is stock for now other than a BBk cold air intake. I have better plans for that next winter. We did all the work ourselves, painted and block sanded the whole car. The car is painted metallic Silver and Black.
