Car Bio
These are the pics and story of my slightly modified Laser Red 2001 Cobra, which I show on occasion locally. The story is simple and goes like this: I was really into BMWs, especially the M3s, and had just purchased one. I have two friends who both had Cobras; the one pictured and my other buddy had a White 96 Cobra and a Mineral Gray 03 Cobra. Needless to say, whenever I was around either of them all they talked about was their Cobras. Then, out of the blue one day, my Cobra's prior owner decided he wanted a Shelby GT 500 and he wasn't going to quit bugging me until I bought his, because he didn't want anybody else to have it (right). After about a week of badgering, I finally let him convince me to come and drive this Cobra. I hopped in my M3 and drove to his house, just to satisfy his desire for me to drive this car. Well, as you can see, the rest is history and this bad little snake sits in the mancave right beside the BMW M3. I now have the best of both worlds and am loving it. The moral of the story is never let them talk you into driving the SNAKE, 'cause once you do the fangs sink in and you are BIT for life
