Car Bio
Ever since I was a kid, I've always wanted a Mustang. I still remember the exact day that I fell in love with them......I was seven years old and she was a 1965 Shelby GT350 #237 (white w/ blue racing stripes). And ever since then, I've always been in love with Mustangs. I still have the polaroid picture that I took of her that day posted up in my garage. And even though I wanted one so bad, I always ended up getting a truck instead, main reason being, because I always needed a pickup for work. So years and years past by, with me never owning a Mustang....wanting one so bad that I would dream night after night of me behind the wheel of a 67 Fastback. Well, later on down the road, I joined the US Army and right before I left for my first deployment tour to Iraq, Ford came out with the Mach 1s, and boy did I fall in love with them. When I came back from that tour, I looked at the Mach 1s, but they were just a little to pricey for my rank at the time. So I just stuck it out with my truck, and decided to work on it instead. After my second tour to Iraq, I was finally in the position to where I could afford a Mustang and keep my truck. So I started my search for a Mach 1, specifically with a 5 speed transmission and either Black or Competition Orange in color. But soon after I started my search, I came down on orders to be stationed in Korea for a year....this pretty much put an end to my search. But right before I left for Korea, I put my name on a waiting list for a Mach 1 at the Ford dealership where I bought my F-150. The first few months I was in Korea, I searched online for Mach 1s. I came up with a couple of results, but there was no way I was able to purchase it and put it away while I was overseas. So, I just decided to wait until I got home to continue my search. I payed off my truck on the final month of my Korea tour.....and on the day after I arrived home from overseas, I received an email from the Ford dealership saying that they had a 2004 Mustang Mach 1...black in color....and also a 5 speed. Well, lets just say that at the end of the night, I was driving home with "My First Mustang." I was fortunate enough to be able to keep my lifted F-150 and the Mach 1. These days, the hardest part of the day is in the morning when I'm trying to figure out which one I'm going to drive. Anyways, since I've had the Mach 1, I've tried to make up for those childhood days when I wanted a Mustang so bad. And every time I'm in the driver seat watching the "Shaker" dance to my foot on the accelerator, I'm glad the dreams I had as a kid of owning a Mustang have finally been full-filled.
