Car Bio

Well, I had my 95 GT Mustang that ran awesome. I talked to the wife about getting a 03 or 04 Cobra Mustang. She said sure but I had to sell the 95, only one stang per house hold....I guess. I said sure. So I sold her in Nov 2004. Yes, I almost cried!! I looked around for the cobra but to my surprise the wife said we should wait to get a couple of things caught up then we could. Before i knew it, i bought her a new car and had to settle for something used. I looked around and my budget was $10K. After looking for 2 months, I saw a used 97 Saleen for 14K but wanted it. After talking to the guy and asking how low, then a military discount, he was prior enlisted. I bought my saleen for $10K in March 2005. She already had FRP 3.73 Gears,H pipe, Flowmaster catback, new convertible top and other little things. Not to long after getting her home, some MSD wires and coil packs, new rear taillights, Saleen floormats from Saleen. Then an accufab 75mm TB. A few weeks later we went to the track and the best I could get was a mid 14 at 94MPH, slow, I know. But she did good for a lightly modded heavy convertible. But...the Horsepower was lacking and I knew I had to do something with the motor. I though stroking it to a 5.0 till I found a 2003 5.4 with under 10K miles on it and bought it. Bought a lot of new parts to go with the engine swap and a new T-45 from a cobra. This started in Nov 05. After I finally got the intake adapter plates..Feb 06, yeah,  that was a long time to wait. I finished her up and added what you see in the pics. I still have to get her finished with the tuning cause there's a lot more HP and TQ. She's fun to drive with the top down in the sun and nothing but compliments. This one is a definite keeper, no selling.
