347 Stroker. Ford Racing starts with a 4-bolt main 302 cubic inch block M-6010-BOSS302 that is overbored to 0.030" and is assembled with 4130 forged-steel connecting rods, a 3.400" forged steel stroker crankshaft and 4.030" forged pistons, set up with a nominal 0.000" of piston-to-deck clearance.

Additional Features. The pistons have valve reliefs of approximately 4cc, which are positioned to accommodate the inline valve layouts of N351, GT-40, and other Windsor-type heads. Clevite bearings are used at the main, rod, and cam-bearing positions. The rotating assembly is balanced for a 28.2 in./oz. early-style flywheel and harmonic damper.

Application. This Ford Racing 347ci Boss Stroker Short Block is the perfect foundation for any high horsepower project whether it is a Mustang, kit car, street rod, or resto-mod. Just add your own heads, cam, timing-chain set, and accessories, and you're ready to make big horsepower.
