Built Ford Tough. This Boss 5.0 iron block features a 4.6L deck height and a 94mm cylinder bore. It is cast in Ford's Cleveland plant using a proprietary iron mix to yield the strongest casting possible.
Additional Features. Featuring a Siamese 94mm Bore and a 4 Bolt Main with interference fit nodular iron machined caps, this Ford Racing Modular 5.0L block has increased main web window size for less oil movement and greater power.
Application. This Ford Racing Boss Modular 5.0L Engine Block is designed to be direct fit replacement for the stock 4.6L block of the 1996 to 2004 GT Mustang.
Technical Note. This is a bare block, no internals are included. This block does not have a finished milled head deck or cylinder bores. Your engine builder will need to mill the deck and finish bore, then hone each bore specifically for the combination being installed.
