Shelby GT500 Throttle Body. This upgrade kit includes the same exact Twin Blade Throttle Body that came as standard equipment on the 2007 to 2010 Shelby GT500 upgrading you from 55mm to 60mm for better airflow and more power.
1/2" Adapter Plate. The included 1/2" billet adapter plate is five-axis CNC-machined to exactly match the center of the GT500's throttle body bores with the exact center of the factory 4.6 3V intake manifold bores for a smooth tapered transition. The adapter plate includes required template to modify the GT500 throttle body and an OEM-style seal for a seamless installation.
Bolt-On Installation. The Shelby GT500 Twin Blade throttle body and 1/2" adapter are designed to install in under two hours with just basic hand tools. The GT500 throttle body will need to be drilled out using the provided template.
Application. This Shelby GT500 60mm Twin Blade Throttle Body and 1/2" Adapter kit is designed to fit the 2005 to 2010 4.6L V8 Mustangs, including the GT and Bullitt models.
Technical note: The included Shelby GT500 Twin Blade throttle body will require light modification/drilling to install correctly with the included adapter plate.
