Install or Rebuild. Don't be caught without the seals or hardware you need when doing your gear swap or rebuild. A Motive Install kit has everything to make installing new gears or rebuilding your 8.8" rear easy and painless.
Cheap Insurance. If you're installing new gears, a Motive Install kit is cheap insurance against future problems. Any Mustang can benefit from fresh hardware in the differential to ensure your gears perform flawlessly. However it is highly recommended to add this kit to your new gears for any Mustang with over 60,000 miles, since your differential's hardware is probably worn down and you can combine labor costs to save money.
Complete Kit. This kit has all the components of the Motive Installation Kit, including pinion seals, gaskets, hardware, marking compound and brush, and even Loctite. It is the same as the Motive Bearing kit without bearings.
Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners. Starting in 2010 Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8" equipped Mustangs. Because of this you will require a new 8.8" rear gear pinion bearing (Ford part# 9L3Z-4630-A) for proper installation, please see drop down option above.
