A result of Steeda's unique partnership with Ford, this intake keeps the factory cold air feed ducting from the front bumper and uses a stainless steel heat shield to prevent hot air from entering your engine bay. Combined with their "ProFlow" intake tube, your Mustang will keep its factory noise tube and PCV tubes for less mess in your engine bay, less noise, and less heat.
Reusable High Flow Air Filter. The included Steeda dual cone air filter has more surface area than competitors single cone filters to allow your Pony to breath much easier for more power. And best of all the filter is reusable, just clean it, re-oil it, save money and go.
Easy Installation. Installing the Steeda Intake for your 2011-2013 V6 takes about an hour, and requires only basic tools.
Application. This Steeda ProFlow Cold Air Intake is specifically designed for use on the 2011-2013+ V6 Mustangs, both manual or automatic transmission, with the 3.7L TiVCT V6 engine. Requires a new computer tune.
Technical note. Installation of this Steeda CAI requires the use of a custom-tuned SCT SF3/X3 PowerFlash to reprogram the cars computer for the Cold Air Intake.
