The entire Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter mechanism was re-engineered to have the correct pivot ratio and spring tension for the beefier Tremec transmission. Your Tremec isn't the same inside as a T-5. Why should your shifter be?"Offset-Preload" coil springs find third gear for you so you won't miss! The Tri-ax Shifter has the most comfortable hand position of any short throw shifter. It has two position adjustable height. The Tri-ax Shifter has the Shortest throw of any shifter and features Smooth, confident, precise shifts. It also has the Exclusive BootGuard (which prevents damage to factory rubber inner boot). The Tri-ax Shifter has Adjustable positive stops prevent over extending the shift lever which prevents costly transmission damage. It and also has a compact tower design and is easier to install. The Tri-ax Shifter is CNC machined from billet 6061 T-6 aluminum, featuring a heavy duty construction, and no welds, stampings, or castings to break Its nickel plated pivot shaft won't rust or stain. It uses Grade 8 and stainless steel hardware. It is also made in the USA. The Tri-ax Shifter Accepts factory & Steeda knobs. It includes Steeda's exclusive forged Tri-Ax shifter handle.
