Mustang Third Brake Light Decal & Tint (99-04) - Installation Instructions

Installation
Headlight Covers Install:- Clean third brake light lens well to ensure good adhesion of the decal. Fill a spray bottle with a mixture of water and dish soap. You can also use glass cleaner if you choose. Be sure to install decal out of direct sunlight.
- Begin by cutting the decal into two separate pieces. This will make installation easier.
- Spray brake light lens with a generous amount of the soap and water mixture.
- Peel backing from "MUSTANG" decal, exposing the adhesive.
- Place decal over third brake light lens. Maneuver decal so it is in the center of the lens. Once you have the decal in its final position, remove all air bubbles by pushing them to the outer edges with a plastic squeegee.
- After letting the decal dry for a bit, carefully pull back protective coating as shown.
- Re-soak the top portion of the brake light lens and apply the top half of the decal. Once the decal is in its final position, use the plastic squeegee to remove any air bubbles.
- After letting the decal dry for a bit, remove the protective coating. The upper decal will overlap the lower decal by about 1/16". Make sure to fully seat the upper decal by using pressure with your finger to push it down over the lower decal as shown.
