Wake Up Your Pony. Installing a set of steeper gears is a great way to get your Mustang into the power band quicker for improved low end torque and faster acceleration off the line. A set of USA Standard Gears will really wake up your Pony. Better Than OEM Quality. Using state-of-of-the-art equipment and manufacturing techniques USA Standard Ring & Pinion sets are made to higher than OEM standards from high grade 8620 gear steel and are backed by a one year warranty. Application. This USA Standard Gear 3.90 Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit 11-13 GT Mustangs and 11-12 GT500 Mustangs. A master bearing kit is recommended by most installers, especially on high mileage vehicles, see drop down option above. Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners. Starting in 2010 Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8" equipped Mustangs. Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service! I cannot tell you what a joy it is to do business with American Muscle. Their sales and customer service departments are always on point, and able to answer my questions with ease. They always beat their competition on pricing, and have an ever growing selection. There parts ship quickly, and arrive in a timely manner, all for free. I haven’t found anyone else with free shipping. They also give us military a good price break, so we save even more money. There online catalog is the easiest online catalog to browse, that I have found yet. I absolutely praise American Muscle for the service they provide us.
