Car Bio

After earning my driving permit late in 2006, I was in the market for a car. I wanted to buy something local and off the street. After looking around for weeks, I couldn't find anything I was interested in. I drove with my dad to look at an old Toyota MR2, and on the way home we passed a black Mustang parked on the street with a huge "For Sale, Price Lowered" sign on the windshield. My dad says " Aw, man, how 'bout that Mustang! Let's go look at it." My first impression was that it would be way over what I had planned to spend. After starting the car and driving it, I fell in love. The throaty V8, black on black color, stick shift, and best of all, a convertible. I thought about the car for a while. My dad told me that HIS first car was a Ford convertible Galaxie 500. I wanted it. $6400.00 dollars later, we signed over the title and parked it in my driveway on mischief night, 2006. A few weeks later, I got my driver's license and I wouldn't step foot out of my Mustang for weeks. After 2 years of ownership, I've been slowly modifying the car, making it a new experience every time I drive it. Plus, it doesn't hurt when I drive into a Wawa with an Off-Road H pipe and Flowmasters, and hear someone in the distance say " That car sounds freaking awesome."
