  3. Use a flat-headed screwdriver to carefully pry the four outermost mounting tabs of the grille (two on each side) from the bumper cover. Once these outer tabs are loose, carefully but firmly pull up and out on the grille to fully release it from the bumper cover. Make sure to unplug the fog light wiring harnesses before completely removing the grille from the vehicle if it is so equipped.

  4. Install the billet overlay by placing it over the factory plastic grille and using the supplied hardware to attach it as shown. If your Mustang is a V6, there will be three mounting points, one at the top and two on the bottom. If your car is a GT, it will mount as shown with four mounting points in the center section of the grille.

  5. Place the outer pieces of your billet grille overlay over the factory grille and mark where you will have to drill a small hole for the mounting hardware. Outer pieces are side-specific, so make sure they are on the correct side before marking. Use a drill and 9/64 bit to drill holes in the factory grille for your mounting hardware.
