Built Ford Tough. This Ford Racing crate engine is built from a lightweight aluminum cylinder block that features cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulkheads for bottom-end strength. Assembled with forged aluminum pistons and upgraded sinter-forged connecting rods for improved strength, this Coyote engine includes a manual transmission engine harness, flywheel, large sump 8.5qt capacity oil pan with revised baffling and a composite intake system with shorter runners for optimum flow at high rpms.
Additional Features. The Boss 302 crate engine also features sodium-filled exhaust valves for improved heat dissipation and high-strength aluminum-alloy cylinder heads with fully CNC-machined ports and chambers for exceptional high-rpm airflow without sacrificing low-speed torque.
Required Upgrades. The Ford Racing Boss 302 create engine requires an Engine Control Pack and Alternator Kit for proper installation and operation.
Application. This 5.0L 32V DOHC Boss 302 Engine fits 2011-2013 GT Mustangs. It can also be used in a resto-mod or custom car build.
Technical Note. Does not include vehicle harness, PCM, alternator, coil pack covers or NVH insulator pads.
