Built Ford Tough. This Ford Racing crate engine is built from a lightweight aluminum cylinder block that features cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulkheads for bottom-end strength. Assembled with Mahle hard anodized forged pistons with Graphal low friction coating, Manley H-beam connecting rods with ARP 2000 bolts and BOSS 5.0 connecting rod bearings, this Coyote engine includes manual flywheel with pilot bearing, large sump 8qt capacity oil pan, Ford Racing oil filter, colder heat range 0 spark plugs, Boss valve springs and Ford Racing engine cover kit.
High Revving Efficient Power. An 80 mm single bore "drive by wire" throttle body in combination with a tuned composite intake manifold provides efficient air delivery and weight savings. The four-valve-per-cylinder aluminum heads with roller-finger followers reduce friction while piston-cooling jets, optimized oil drain-back and windage control improving high-rpm performance.
Required Upgrades. The Ford Racing 5.0L 4V Aluminator create engine requires an Engine Control Pack and Alternator Kit for proper installation and operation.
Application. This 5.0L 32V DOHC Coyote Engine fits 2011-2013 GT Mustangs. It can also be used in a resto-mod or custom car build.
