The Numbers. When installed on a 2010 Shelby GT500 this kit will produce 750 hp @ 6100 rpm and 719 lb-ft @ 4200 rpm @ 17 psi boost on 93 octane fuel. When installed on a 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 this kit will produce 725 hp @ 6100 rpm and 670 lb-ft @ 4700 rpm @ 17 psi boost on 93 octane fuel.
Complete Kit. The Ford Racing Whipple Supercharger Upgrade Kit includes a black wrinkle finish 2.9L Twin Screw Whipple Supercharger assembly with "Crusher" inlet, Whipple 123mm MAF housing with zip tube, a 65mm dual bore Cobra Jet throttle body, FRPP upgraded dual fuel pump assembly and Ford Racing ProCal tool with performance calibration.
50 State Legal. Unlike the competitors, all Ford Racing Power Upgrade Packages are 50 state emissions legal.
Application. This Black Ford Racing Whipple 2.9L Supercharger Upgrade Kit is designed as a direct fit performance upgrade for the 2007 to 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustangs equipped with the Supercharged 5.4L DOHC V-8 engine.
Technical Note. Due to multiple power-train calibrations, online registration (with Ford Racing) is required to receive the ProCal calibration delivery tool after purchase.
It may require biasing the K-member (#2 crossmember) forward to achieve supercharger to bulkhead clearance. If K-member is moved, a front end alignment will be necessary.
