Catted X-pipe design. This Pypes catted x-pipe balances out the gas pressures in your exhaust system to create more power and torque than the stock factory Y-pipe. Why? Because the exiting exhaust pulses are merged at the "X", resulting in less exhaust back pressure for more power. Pypes High Flow Catalytic Converters are included.
Quality Materials. Both the Catted X-pipe and Catback are constructed from mandrel bent 2.5" 409 stainless steel. The X-Pipe features welded reinforcement plates for additional strength and the Dual Catback features Pypes Street-Pro 3-chamber mufflers for an aggressive throaty sound. With its 3" polished 304 stainless steel tips this system not only sounds great, but it looks great too.
Application. The Pypes V6 True Dual Exhaust Kit is specifically designed to fit on any 1998 to 2004 3.8L or 3.9L V6 Mustang for more power and a more aggressive sound.
Technical Note: May require the use of O2 Sensor Extensions for proper installation. Some cutting to the flow tubes is required.
