A result of Steeda's unique partnership with Ford, this intake keeps the factory cold air feed ducting from the front bumper and uses a stainless steel heat shield to prevent hot air from entering your engine bay. Combined with their "ProFlow" intake tube, your Mustang will keep its factory noise tube and PCV tubes for less mess in your engine bay, less noise, and less heat.
Easy Installation. Installing the Steeda Intake for your 2011-2013 GT takes about an hour, and requires only basic tools.
Application. This Steeda Cold Air Intake is designed for the 2011+ Mustang GT 5.0 with the 6-speed manual transmission only, requires a new computer tune. We also carry the Steeda Cold Air Intake for the 2011-2013 GT with the automatic transmission.
Technical note. Installation of this Steeda CAI requires the use of a custom-tuned SCT SF3/X3 PowerFlash or SCT LiveWire tuner to reprogram the cars computer for the Cold Air Intake.
